SOASCIS actively seeks to foster a mutually supportive and inclusive learning culture. To realise this important aim, a Faculty Research Forum is organised fortnightly as an informal sharing session among the Centre’s academics, research staff, and research assistants, for mutual professional and career development.

The SFRF is intended to be a dynamic collaborative space, providing opportunity for Faculty members and researchers to share, discuss, and test new ideas, impart valuable experiences, listen to the latest research developments, share best practices, and to connect with other invited academics and researchers.

The objective of the SOASCIS Faculty Research Forum is to foster a profound collaborative ethos among researchers and colleagues, to embody the Qur’ānic principle of ta’āwun (collaboration) in what is righteous and pious (al-Mā’idah:2).
