Background

Hj. Awang Mohd. Hanafi bin Abd. Rahman born in Kg Sungai Kedayan, Brunei Darussalam and has around 27 years of working experience, 6 years in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and 21 years in Brunei Darussalam, in the areas of Human Resource, Training, Customer Service and Communication. Prior to that, he has also several years’ experience of involvement in small business and entrepreneurship.

He has attended more than 20 professional short courses and acquired certification in some professional fields:
1/ A Certified DISC Behavioral Consultant by  Institute For Motivational Living, Inc., USA
2/ A Certified  Work Place Big Five Profile by Applied Cognitive Studies, USA.
3/ A Certified Training Evaluation Expert by Specialist Management Resources, Malaysia.
4/ A Certified Competency Professional by SMR HR Group, Malaysia.
5/ A Certified Safety Manager by International Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

He was invited as a presenter in some international and national seminars, including TV and masjids in the area of Human Capacity Development, Motivational Talks and some related Islamic topics.

During his under-graduate life, even though he was a foreign student from Brunei Darussalam,  he was elected to various student leadership responsibilities such as Vice–President of Islamic Revealed Knowledge & Human Sciences Student Representative Council, IIUM; President and Founder of Archery Club, IIUM; President of Kembara Usahawan (an entrepreneurial–based student society) UiTM.
