• BA Shariah (Fiqh and Judiciary) – Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, Brunei Darussalam
• MA ( Islamic Law) – SOAS, University of London

Background

She holds a Master Degree from the School of Law, SOAS, University of London. Her dissertation in law was on ‘A Critical Analysis of Muslim Women’s Rights in a Marriage in Brunei Darussalam’. She studied for her Bachelor Degree at the Faculty of Shariah and Law, UNISSA and was selected to participate in the Study Abroad Programme at Dar al-‘Ulum, Cairo University, Cairo for her third year degree. Her thesis was on أثر إسلام أحد الزوجين في عقد الزواج دراسة شرعية مقارنة بقانون بروناي دارالسلام (Kesan Pengislaman Satu Pihak Kepada Akad Perkahwinan: Kajian Perbandingan Undang-Undang Syar’i dan Undang-Undang Negara Brunei Darussalam).
